Meet our beloved Miss HOG. Her full name is Myrtle Beatrice HOG, we call her Myrtle for short.
When we at the Myrtle Beach HOG Chapter first met Myrtle she was at the beach posing for the
picture you see to your right, a picture that you may have noticed we have adopted for the cover
of our HOG Pen Newsletter. In case you were wondering, that's Myrtle's older brother Sturgis in
the picture with her, we don't see Sturgis much, he's a true rider of the Long Lonesome Highway...

Well, one day we invited Myrtle on a ride as our guest, and she liked it so much that she asked
us if she could join the chapter even if she was only a rider, and didn't own a bike. We put it to a
vote and it was unanimous, not only would we let Myrtle join the chapter, but we promised her
that she would always have a ride. Since then Myrtle has become a card carrying member of the
Myrtle Beach HOG Chapter and has  been with us on every single ride that the chapter has had!

Myrtle has become quite popular and doesn't have any trouble getting a ride on the passenger
seat of someone's bike, no matter where or when we ride, our Myrtle is there with us! We have
asked those who are sharing their ride with Myrtle to take some pics of  their time together, 
which we have displayed below to share with you  the Adventures of our Miss HOG... Enjoy !!!
